We are inviting all doctors who work on ICU to take part in a a UK-wide survey on steroid practices for the treatment of severe community-acquired pneumonia.

 

This is an NIHR project led by University Hospital Southampton.

 The aims of the project are;

 

1. To assess current practice for the use of steroids in acute severe CAP on ICU

2. To determine the use of guidelines/protocols/pathways associated with the use of steroids in pneumonia

3. To review current practice regarding the choice and duration of steroid usage
