ATOMIC2 Selected as RAFT Project
Following our call for project ideas in the last STAR Newsletter, we are very pleased to announce that our submission to the RAFT Annual Project Meeting was selected as the next National Collaborative Project. Congratulations to Aggie Skorko, who put together an excellent proposal and presented her idea to RAFT, as part of the Cardiff GAT meeting in July.
Building on the recent STAR and SWARM region-wide audit, the Assessment of TracheOstoMy Insertion and Care (ATOMIC2) project will aim to capture a national picture of tracheostomy provision and the morbidity associated with this commonly performed, but under-investigated procedure.
